1 Foreword

JB/T 12943-2016 was issued by MIIT on 22 October 2016 and has been in force since 1 April 2017.

2 Scope

JB/T 12943-2016 sets the general technical requirements for the flying shears installed on cold tandem rolling lines, as a recommended standard of the Chinese machinery industry. Its content is the technical requirements themselves together with the inspection rules by which the shear is accepted. The shears in scope are those of the cold rolling units of metallurgical equipment.
