JB/T 12530.2-2015 is the English-translated version of 塑料焊缝无损检测方法 第2部分：目视检测.
Visual examination of welded joints in thermoplastics is the subject of Part 2 of JB/T 12530, dated 2015. The machinery industry standard sets terms and definitions, general requirements, the test method, the assessment of results and the test report.
It applies to the visual inspection of joints in pipes and sheets made of polyethylene, polypropylene, polyvinyl chloride, acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene, polyvinylidene fluoride, polytetrafluoroethylene and other thermoplastics, welded by hot-gas welding, extrusion welding or hot-plate welding.
The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued it on 10 October 2015 and it came into force on 1 March 2016.

This document was issued on 10 October 2015 by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China, and has been in force since 1 March 2016.
