2 Scope

Seamless tube production is the field of JB/T 12054-2014, a recommended Chinese machinery industry standard on two-roll continuous seamless tube rolling mills. It specifies the equipment components and the technical requirements for the two-roll machine used in hot rolling seamless steel tube. The mills concerned are those working with a retained mandrel, a floating mandrel or a semi-floating mandrel on carbon and low alloy steel.
