1 Foreword

JB/T 11722-2013 was issued by Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China on 31 December 2013 and has been in force since 1 July 2014.

2 Scope

Shunts fitted to electric energy meters are covered by JB/T 11722-2013, a recommended standard of the Chinese machinery industry. For shunts used on 50 Hz or 60 Hz networks it gives the technical requirements, the test methods, the inspection rules and the provisions for marking, packaging, transport and storage. Energy meters fitted with a shunt are what it applies to. The standard carries the Chinese classification N28 and the international classification 17.220.20. Among the standards it quotes are GB/T 2423.1-2008, GB/T 2423.4-2006, GB/T 2423.22-2012, GB/T 2828.1-2012, GB/T 13384-2008 and GB/T 17215.211-2006.
