Foreword

This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for Standardization Work Part

1.Structure and Drafting Rules for Standardization Documents" drafting. This document is part 4 of GB/T 22264 "Mounted Digital Display Electrical Measuring Instruments". GB/T 22264 has issued the following part.

8.Test methods. This document replaces GB/T 22264.4-2008 "Mounted Digital Display Electrical Measuring Instruments Part

4.Special Requirements for Frequency Meters Compared with GB/T 22264.4-2008, except for structural adjustment and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows:

--- Changed the scope and added "This document is applicable to newly manufactured AC 690V and below, with a nominal frequency of 50Hz or Installed digital display frequency meter for measuring frequency in power distribution system" (see Chapter 1, Chapter 1 of the.2008 edition).

--- Deleted the frequency table definition (see

3.1 of the.2008 edition).

1 Scope

GB/T 22264.4-2022 is the Chinese national standard on mounted digital display electric measuring instruments - part 4: special requirements for frequency meters, in the field of metrology and measurement. The /T suffix marks it as a recommended standard: it is not compulsory by itself, but it becomes binding as soon as a contract, a tender or a customer specification calls it up - which in practice is how most foreign buyers meet it. It was issued on 30 December 2022 by the State Administration for Market Regulation; Standardization Administration of China, and has been in force since 1 July 2023. This document is applicable to the installation of measuring frequency in the newly manufactured power distribution system with AC below 690V and nominal frequency of 50Hz or 60Hz.
