1 Foreword

JB/T 11562-2013 was issued by MIIT on 31 December 2013 and has been in force since 1 July 2014.

2 Scope

This standard is a recommended Chinese machinery industry standard that gives the specifications for numerically controlled vertical chucking lathes and turning centres. It covers the design, manufacturing and inspection requirements for machines of general purpose and of general accuracy grade. Its provisions are written for numerically controlled chucking lathes with a chuck diameter of 800 mm or less. The document carries the Chinese classification J53 and the international classification 25.040.20. It takes the place of JB/T 9895.2-1999. Among the standards it quotes are GB 5226.1-2008, GB/T 6576-2002, GB/T 9061-2006, GB/T 16462.4-2007, GB 22997-2008, GB/T 23570-2009 and GB/T 25374-2010.
