1 Foreword

JB/T 4368.1-2013 was issued by MIIT on 31 December 2013 and has been in force since 1 July 2014.

It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 4368.1-1996.

It is one of 4 parts of the JB/T 4368 series.

2 Scope

This standard is a recommended Chinese machinery industry standard for numerically controlled horizontal turning machines and turning centres. This first part fixes the requirements governing the manufacture and the acceptance of general-purpose CNC horizontal lathes and turning centres built to ordinary levels of accuracy. It applies to machines whose maximum turning diameter over the bed reaches 1000 mm. The document is filed under Chinese classification J53 and international classification 25.040.20.
