JB/T 11433-2026 describes a method for determining the density of abrasives. It is a test method standard: it concerns how the measurement is carried out on abrasive material rather than the properties of any particular product.

Abrasive producers, quality control departments, independent test laboratories and grinding tool makers that receive abrasive grain use such a method to obtain comparable density results. The standard is voluntary. It was approved by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, issued on 1 June 2026 and enters into force on 1 December 2026. It replaces JB/T 11433-2013.
