JB/T 10554.1-2015 is the English-translated version of 无损检测 轴类球墨铸铁超声检测 第1部分：总则.
The first part of JB/T 10554, dated 2015, is the recommended Chinese standard on the ultrasonic testing of ductile, or nodular, cast iron, and it holds the general principles. It sets out the ultrasonic testing methods and the quality grading for ductile cast iron materials and for the workpieces made from them. It applies where the thickness lies between 10 mm and 500 mm. GB/T 5616 is to be followed alongside it. Among its other quoted standards are GB/T 1348, GB/T 9441, GB/T 9445, GB/T 18694, GB/T 23908 and JB/T 9214. It replaces JB/T 10554.1-2006.
