1 Foreword

JB/T 10213-2014 was issued by MIIT on 9 July 2014 and has been in force since 1 November 2014.

It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 10213-2000.

2 Scope

JB/T 10213-2014 sets the technical requirements for welding quality in fans, and it is a recommended Chinese machinery industry standard. The document covers those requirements along with the inspection methods, the inspection rules and the quality records to be kept. Welding processes form the other side of its field of application: gas welding, arc welding, submerged-arc welding and gas-shielded welding are the ones named, applied to carbon steel and low alloy among the materials listed.
