HG/T 5811-2020 is the English-translated version of 含铁化工污泥中铁含量测定方法.
Iron content in iron-bearing chemical sludge is measured according to HG/T 5811-2020, a recommended chemical industry standard of China. It carries the general provisions for the determination, the rules for taking the sample, and the methods by which the iron is determined. Its scope is limited to iron-bearing chemical sludge whose iron content is not less than 5 % on a dry basis, so sludges poorer in iron than that fall outside it. The standard is classified under the Chinese heading Z04 and under ICS 13.030.01. GB/T 6682-2008, GB/T 33057, HG/T 3696.1, HG/T 3696.2, HG/T 3696.3 and HJ/T 20-1998 are quoted and used with it. Issued on 9 December 2020, it has applied since 1 April 2021.
