HG/T 4868-2015 is the Chinese chemical industry standard for the ink cartridges used in digital duplicators. It sets out the types and classification of the cartridges, the requirements they must meet, the test methods and inspection rules, and the marking, packaging, transport and storage. The product covered is the cartridge fitted to a digital duplicator, the machine that prints from a thermally cut master. Sampling for inspection follows GB/T 2828.1, while GB/T 13217.3, GB/T 13217.4 and GB/T 14624.3 supply the ink test methods it uses. Issued on 14 July 2015, it has applied since 1 January 2016.
