Scope

GB/T 41975-2022 is the English-translated version of 书刊喷墨数字印刷机.

GB/T 41975-2022 is the Chinese national product standard for ink-jet digital printing presses used to print books and periodicals.

It fixes the equipment types, structural composition and basic parameters, the requirements, the test methods, the inspection rules, the instructions for use, product certificate and signs, and the packaging, transport and storage.

The requirements run through mechanical performance, printing performance, cutting and delivery performance, the digital prepress system, the paper path, the inkjet printing and drying or curing units, machinery safety, electrical quality and appearance, with tables of noise limits, solid colour bar densities and their permitted error, and dot gain on the step scale.

Annexes give a standard test chart and the noise measurement points. It applies to the design, development, manufacture and use of such presses. Issued on 12 October 2022, it has applied since the same date.
