HG/T 4862-2015 is the Chinese chemical industry standard laying down the test methods for the reaction performance of catalysts for the conversion of methanol to light olefins. It sets out how the performance of such a catalyst in the reaction is measured and reported. The methods are written for the solid catalysts employed in the methanol to olefins process, in which ethylene and propylene are obtained from methanol. Particle sizing follows GB/T 6003.1 and sampling follows GB/T 6679, the two standards it quotes. Issued on 14 July 2015, it has applied since 1 January 2016.
