Scope
HG/T 4861-2015 is the English-translated version of 甲醇制低碳烯烃催化剂物理性能试验方法.
Where its companion part deals with reaction behaviour, HG/T 4861-2015 is the Chinese chemical industry standard covering the physical properties of catalysts for methanol to light olefins. It gives the measurement methods for particle size, attrition index, BET specific surface area, total pore volume and tapped and settled density. These methods are for the solid catalysts used in the methanol to olefins process, whose mechanical strength and pore structure decide their life in the unit. The determinations draw on GB/T 16913 and GB/T 21354 as well as on GB/T 6678 and GB/T 6682. Issued on 14 July 2015, it has applied since 1 January 2016.
