HG/T 4550.3-2013 is the English-translated version of 废弃化学品中镉的测定 第3部分：镉试剂分光光度法.
HG/T 4550.3-2013 is the recommended Chinese chemical industry standard that sets out the cadion spectrophotometric method for determining cadmium in waste chemicals. As the third part of the HG/T 4550 series it gives the principle of the measurement and then the reagents and materials, the instruments and equipment, the preparation of the sample, the analytical procedure and the calculation of the result. It is written for laboratories that have to establish how much cadmium a discarded chemical carries before that material is treated or disposed of. The determination is carried out together with GB/T 6682-2008, HJ/T 64.3-2001, HG/T 3696.2 and HG/T 3696.3. Issued on 17 October 2013, it has applied since 1 March 2014.
