HG/T 4318-2012 was issued by Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China on 7 November 2012 and has been in force since 1 March 2013.

2 Scope

The subject of HG/T 4318-2012, a recommended standard of the Chinese chemical industry, is the nickel-tungsten alloy electroplating solution. Requirements for the solution, test methods, inspection rules and the provisions for marking, labelling, packaging, transport and storage all appear in it. Its scope is confined to nickel-tungsten plating solutions, the iron-bearing version being dealt with separately. Quoted alongside it are GB/T 4956, GB/T 5270-2005, GB/T 6461-2002, GB/T 6462, GB/T 10125, HG/T 3696.2 and JB/T 7704.4-1995.
