HG/T 4245-2011 is the Chinese chemical industry standard for the photosensitive emulsion used on positive-working thermal CTP plates. It sets the requirements for the emulsion, the test methods, the inspection rules and the provisions for marking, labeling, packaging, transport and storage. Its use is confined to the light-sensitive coating applied to positive thermal computer-to-plate materials. The standard is classified G81 in China and 37.100.99 internationally, in the graphic technology group. It quotes GB/T 191, GB/T 606, GB/T 6388, GB/T 6543, GB/T 6679, GB/T 9861, GB/T 10247-2008, GB 15346-1994, CY/T 25 and HG/T 3804. Issued on 20 December 2011, it has applied since 1 July 2012.
