HG/T 4865-2015 is a recommended chemical industry standard of China covering positive thermal computer-to-plate (CTP) plates intended for printing with ultraviolet-curing inks. It lays down the requirements for such plates together with the test methods, inspection rules, packaging and labelling, storage and transport. The plates it addresses have an aluminium base supporting a photosensitive coating that resists UV inks, and they are imaged on computer-to-plate machines whose laser source works at a wavelength of 830 nm. Its Chinese classification is G80 and its international classification 37.040.20. Reference is made to GB/T 191, GB/T 6388, GB/T 6544 and GB/T 6682. Issued on 14 July 2015, it has applied since 1 January 2016.
