HG/T 4241-2011 is the Chinese chemical industry standard for processless thermal CTP plates. It gives the terms and definitions, the requirements, the test methods, the inspection rules and the rules for packaging, marking, storage and transport. The plates it covers are built on an aluminum support carrying a heat-sensitive layer and are made without a processing step; they are intended for platemaking on computer-to-plate machines with an 830 nm laser source. Classified G81 in China and 37.100.99 internationally, it sits among the graphic technology standards. It quotes GB/T 191, GB/T 6388, GB/T 6544, GB/T 6682 and GB/T 17155-1997. Issued on 20 December 2011, it has applied since 1 July 2012.
