Scope
HG/T 4060-2008 is the English-translated version of 磁记录纸.
HG/T 4060-2008 is the Chinese chemical industry standard for magnetic recording paper of the full-coat, high coercivity type used in rail transit, on highways, in car parks and in automatic ticketing systems. It states the requirements for the paper and prescribes sampling, test methods, marking, packaging, transport and storage. Its scope takes in roll recording paper, single-card recording paper, folded paper and wide-sheet magnetic recording paper, whether or not they are printed and whether or not they go through a positioning process. The paper properties are determined by GB/T 450, GB/T 451, GB/T 453, GB/T 455, GB/T 456, GB/T 457 and GB/T 2679.3, while GB 18455 and the ISO/IEC 10373 documents cover the card side. It is a non-equivalent adoption of ISO/IEC 15457-1:2001, 15457-2:2001 and 15457-3:2002. Issued on 23 April 2008, it has applied since 1 October 2008.
