HG/T 4018-2008 is the English-translated version of 化学试剂 1，10-菲咯啉[合订本 HG/T4010～4021-2008].
HG/T 4018-2008 is the recommended Chinese chemical industry standard for 1,10-phenanthroline of reagent grade. It lays down the properties of the compound, the specifications it must meet, the test methods applied to it, and the rules governing inspection, packaging and marking, and its scope is the testing of 1,10-phenanthroline supplied as a chemical reagent. It quotes GB/T 601, GB/T 602 and GB/T 603, GB/T 6682, GB/T 9721 and GB/T 9741, and GB 15346 and HG/T 3921. The standard replaces the earlier national standard GB/T 1293-1989. Issued on 23 April 2008, it has applied since 1 October 2008.
