HG/T 3915-2006 is the Chinese chemical industry standard for fluoroplastic-lined reactors, that is steel-shell vessels protected by a fluoroplastic lining. It gives the terms and definitions, the classification and naming, the design and manufacturing provisions, the requirements and test methods, the inspection rules and the rules for marking, packaging, transport and storage. It applies to cylindrical reactors of the types, parameters and lining materials set out in its Table 1, and fluoroplastic-lined towers may be built by reference to it. It quotes GB 150, GB/T 13384, HG/T 2902-1997, HG/T 2904-1997, the HG 20580 to HG 20585 series, HG/T 20678, JB/T 4700 to JB/T 4703, JB/T 4735, JB/T 4746 and the ASTM D3159, D3222 and D3307 methods. Issued on 26 July 2006, it has applied since 1 March 2007.
