Scope
HG/T 3868-2008 is the English-translated version of 硫化橡胶 高温拉伸强度和拉断伸长率的测定.
HG/T 3868-2008 is the recommended Chinese chemical industry standard for determining the tensile strength and the elongation at break of vulcanized rubber at high temperature, together with the thermal coefficient derived from them. It sets out how those properties are measured when the test is run hot rather than at ambient temperature. It does not apply to hard rubber or to other materials of similarly low elongation. It is used with GB/T 528, GB/T 2941 and HG/T 2369-1992, and it is a non-equivalent adoption of ISO 37-1994 and ISO 3383-1985. The standard replaces the 2006 edition HG/T 3868-2006. Issued on 1 February 2008, it has applied since 1 July 2008.
