HG/T 3843-2008 is the English-translated version of 硫化橡胶 短时间静压缩试验方法.
HG/T 3843-2008 is the recommended Chinese chemical industry standard giving the test method for the short-time static compression of vulcanized rubber. It describes how a specimen is compressed on a testing machine for a short period so that the static compression behaviour of the rubber can be determined. The standard is a modified adoption of GOST 265-1977 and is classified G40 in the Chinese system and 83.060 internationally. It quotes GB/T 2941 and HG/T 2369-1992, which are used alongside it. This edition replaces HG/T 3843-2006. Issued on 1 February 2008, it has applied since 1 July 2008.
