HG/T 3597-2010 is the English-translated version of 酸性棕P-RB（C.I.酸性棕2）.
HG/T 3597-2010 is the Chinese chemical industry standard for acid brown P-RB, the acid dye catalogued as C.I. Acid Brown 2. It is a product standard in the dyestuffs group of the chemical catalogue (Chinese classification G57) and covers the dye as supplied for textile dyeing. A batch is judged with the dye test methods it calls up, among them GB/T 2374, GB/T 2378 and GB/T 2381, the depth standards of GB/T 4841.1, sampling to GB/T 6678, and the fastness methods GB/T 3920, GB/T 3921, GB/T 3922, GB/T 5713, GB/T 6152 and GB/T 8427. GB 19601 and GB 20814, on aromatic amines and heavy metals in dyes, are cited as well. This edition replaces HG/T 3597-1999. Issued on 22 November 2010, it has applied since 1 March 2011.
