Scope
HG/T 3582-2009 is the English-translated version of 工业硝酸锌.
HG/T 3582-2009 is the recommended Chinese chemical industry standard for zinc nitrate intended for industrial use. It sets out the requirements placed on the product together with the test methods, inspection rules, marking and labelling, packaging, transport, storage and safety provisions that go with them. Its scope is industrial zinc nitrate as such, a salt used mainly in preparing galvanizing and phosphating agents, as a mordant in dyeing, as an acidification catalyst in pharmaceutical work, as a latex coagulant, as a preservative for dye synthesis materials and as a catalyst in resin processing. The work is carried out alongside GB 190-2009, GB/T 191-2008, GB/T 6682-2008 and the HG/T 3696 series. It replaces HG/T 3582-1999. Issued on 4 December 2009, it has applied since 1 June 2010.
