Scope
HG/T 3542-2013 is the English-translated version of 化肥催化剂中微量硫分析方法.
HG/T 3542-2013 is a recommended chemical industry standard of China for the determination of trace sulphur in fertilizer catalysts. It sets out three ways of measuring the sulphur mass fraction: ion chromatography, iodimetry and the barium sulphate method. The methods are written for catalysts of all the types used in fertilizer production, and are classified with the catalysts of the chemical industry under the international code 71.100.99. The standard quotes GB/T 601, GB/T 603, GB/T 6003.1, GB/T 6678, GB/T 6679 and GB/T 6682. It takes over from HG/T 3542-2005. Issued on 17 October 2013, it has applied since 1 March 2014.
