HG/T 3516-2011 is the English-translated version of 工业循环冷却水中亚硝酸盐的测定 分子吸收分光光度法.
HG/T 3516-2011 is a Chinese chemical industry standard, recommended in status, on the determination of nitrite in industrial circulating cooling water by molecular absorption spectrometry. It is written for nitrite contents between 0.062 mg/L and 0.25 mg/L, and the method may equally be used on drinking water, domestic water and wastewater. It is a modified adoption of ISO 6777:1984. GB/T 6682 is the standard it quotes, and the classifications assigned to it are G76 in China and 13.060.25 and 71.040.40 internationally. It supersedes HG/T 3516-2003. Issued on 20 December 2011, it has applied since 1 July 2012.
