HG/T 3248-2011 is the English-translated version of 工业硅酸铅.
HG/T 3248-2011 is a recommended Chinese chemical industry standard for lead silicate of industrial grade. It states the requirements for the product and the test methods used to check them, together with the inspection rules, signs, labels, packaging, transport and storage. The material is intended chiefly as a raw material for power vacuum work, for lead-acid and radiation-shielding leaded glass, and for the ceramics and optical industries. Analysis and the presentation of results rely on GB/T 3049-2006, GB/T 6003.1-1997, GB/T 6678, GB/T 6682-2008 and GB/T 8170, with marking to GB/T 191-2008 and HG/T 3696.1 to HG/T 3696.3. It replaces HG/T 3248-2000. Issued on 20 December 2011, it has applied since 1 July 2012.
