Part 2 of HG/T 3226, HG/T 3226.2-2011 is a recommended Chinese chemical industry standard on tyre building drums of the expandable and collapsible type. It fixes the terms and definitions, the classification, the models and basic parameters, and then the requirements, the testing, the inspection rules, the marking, packaging, transport and storage. The drums it covers are those used to build radial tyres for passenger cars, light trucks, trucks and construction machinery, and it may also be used for building drums serving tyres of other vehicles. It is applied with GB/T 1173, GB/T 1800.2-2009, GB/T 3190, GB/T 6326, GB/T 13306, GB/T 13384 and HG/T 3223. Issued on 20 December 2011, it has applied since 1 July 2012.
