Scope

HG/T 3226.1-2009 is the English-translated version of 轮胎成型机头第1部分：折叠式机头.

HG/T 3226.1-2009 is the first part of the recommended Chinese chemical industry standard on tyre building drums, and it deals with collapsible drums. The part sets terms and definitions, model designations and basic parameters, requirements, testing, inspection rules and the provisions for marking, packaging, transport and storage. It applies to collapsible drums with an outside diameter below 2120 mm and a width below 3180 mm, including full drums, half drums and the wheeled and half-wheeled core types. GB/T 1800.4-1999, GB/T 1801-1999, GB/T 6326, GB/T 12783, GB/T 13306, GB/T 13384 and HG/T 3223 are quoted in it. It supersedes HG/T 3226-1987. Issued on 4 December 2009, it has applied since 1 June 2010.
