HG/T 3096-2011 is the English-translated version of 水闸橡胶密封件.
HG/T 3096-2011 is the Chinese chemical industry standard for rubber seals used on sluice gates. It fixes the requirements for plain rubber seals and for composite rubber seals, together with the test methods, the inspection rules and the provisions on signs, packaging, transport and storage. It applies to the rubber and composite rubber seals fitted to gates in water conservancy and hydropower works. The tests it relies on include GB/T 528, GB/T 531.1, GB/T 532, GB/T 533, GB/T 1682, GB/T 1690, GB/T 3512, GB/T 7757 and GB/T 7759, with HG/T 2729, HG/T 3090 and JB/T 6069. It supersedes HG/T 3096-2001. Issued on 20 December 2011, it has applied since 1 July 2012.
