HG/T 2863-2011 is the English-translated version of 灯泡用氩气.
Argon for light bulbs is treated in HG/T 2863-2011, a recommended standard of the Chinese chemical industry. It sets the technical requirements for the gas along with the inspection methods and the rules for packaging, marking, storage and transport.
The product covered is bottled argon-nitrogen mixture prepared in the argon to nitrogen proportion the standard lays down, used mainly for filling incandescent lamps.
Sampling and analysis follow GB/T 5832.1, GB/T 5832.2, GB/T 6285, GB/T 8981 and GB/T 8984, while GB 190, GB 5099 and GB 14194 apply to the cylinders and their marking.
It replaces HG/T 2863-1997. Issued on 20 December 2011, it has applied since 1 July 2012.
