HG/T 2831-2009 is the English-translated version of 工业磷酸二氢锰.
HG/T 2831-2009 is the recommended Chinese chemical industry standard for manganese dihydrogen phosphate of industrial grade. It fixes the requirements for the product and sets out the test methods, the inspection rules, the marking and labelling and the provisions for packaging, transport and storage. The product is used above all in phosphating and rust-proofing treatments for iron and steel articles, and in the defence industry for the protective and lubricating layers applied to various weapons. It quotes GB/T 191, GB/T 3049, GB/T 6678, GB/T 6682, GB/T 8170 and parts 1 to 3 of HG/T 3696. It replaces HG/T 2831-1997. Issued on 4 December 2009, it has applied since 1 June 2010.
