Scope
HG/T 2748-2012 is the English-translated version of 直接红B(C.I.直接红23).
Direct red B, listed in the Colour Index as C.I. Direct Red 23, is the dye covered by HG/T 2748-2012, a recommended standard of the Chinese chemical industry. It fixes the product requirements and the sampling, the test methods and the inspection rules, and then the signs, labels, packaging, transport and storage.
The standard is written for quality control of direct red B product. Among the documents it quotes are GB/T 2374-2007, GB/T 2381-2006, GB/T 3920-2008, GB/T 3921-2008, GB/T 4841.1-2006 and GB 19601.
It replaces the 2005 edition, HG/T 2748-2005. Issued on 24 May 2012, it has applied since 1 November 2012.
