HG/T 2186-2012 is the English-translated version of 轮胎水压试验方法.
HG/T 2186-2012 is the Chinese chemical industry standard that sets out the water pressure test for tyres. It gives the terms and definitions, the principle of the test, the test equipment, the procedure to be followed, the formulas used in the calculation and the content of the test report. The method is written for passenger car tyres, truck tyres, agricultural tyres, off-the-road tyres and industrial tyres. Terminology follows GB/T 6326. The standard replaces HG/T 2186-1991 and is classified under CCS G41 and ICS 83.160.01. Issued on 24 May 2012, it has applied since 1 November 2012.
