Foreword

This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for standardization work Part 1: Structure and drafting rules for standardization documents" Drafting is required.

This document is equivalent to IEC TS 62862-2-1:2021 "Solar thermal power station Part 2-1.Direct and indirect thermal storage system".

The document type was adjusted from the IEC technical specification to the national standardization guidance technology of my country..

The following minimal editorial changes were made to this document.

--To coordinate with the existing standards, the name of the standard will be changed to "Direct and Indirect Active Sensible Heat Storage Systems for Solar Thermal Power Plants" characteristic";

--Change the symbol "Q" in Table 1 to "q";

--Change the unit "Wh" in Table 1 to "MWh";

--Delete the abbreviations "AMB", "E", "Q", "RTD", "T" and "TES" in Table 2;

--Change the abbreviations "IN" to "in" and "OUT" to "out" in Table 2;

--Change "should include at least the measuring points described in 6.2" in 8.1.1 to "should include at least the measuring points described in 6.3";

--Change "based on formulas (1) to (11)" in 8.1.2 to "based on formulas (1) to (16)";

--Replace "DN 50" in B.4 for "nominal diameter 5.08 cm (2 in)";

--Add "GB/T 150 (all parts)" and "GB/T 151" as references.

1 Scope

This document specifies requirements and test methods for the characteristics of thermal storage systems.

This document gives information on determining the performance and functional characteristics of direct and indirect active sensible heat storage systems for solar thermal power plants.

It is applicable to parabolic trough, Fresnel and tower solar thermal power stations using fluid heat storage media.

This document includes the test process and result report of the heat storage system charging and discharging. This document describes the test performance requirements and required Instruments, data collection and processing methods, and calculation methods of results and their uncertainties.
