GB/Z 26958.41-2011 is Part 41 of the Chinese GPS filtration series, identical to ISO/TS 16610-41:2006, and deals with morphological profile filters that use disk and horizontal line segment structuring elements, including envelope filters.
These filters are described through Minkowski operations: the two basic morphological operations, dilation and erosion, and the two derived ones, opening and closing, which act as morphological filters.
The general calculation method is given for discrete profile data sampled at equal spacing, while the annexes describe the discrete implementation of morphological profile operations and filters and their relation to the filter matrix model.
Terms are taken from GB/T 18780.1 and from Parts 1 and 40 of the same series. It was issued on 19 July 2011.

4 Morphological filter
4.1 Overview
The morphology filter described in this section is defined by the Mickowski operation and includes two basic morphological operations (swelling and erosion)

4.2 Discrete representation of input data
The sampled contour data is represented by a vector z of size n, which is a discrete representation of the contour. For ease of calculation, it is assumed to be used Isometric sampling separated by delta. The z element i of z is the estimated value of the input function at idelta. Example:
