This guidance document is based on GB/T 22005/IDT22005.2007 "Design and Implementation of Traceability System for Feed and Food Chain General principles and basic requirements for application ", from the operability point of view, given to help organizations design and implement feed and food chain traceability system Application Guide. Appendix A and Appendix B of this guidance document are informative appendices. This guiding technical document is proposed and managed by the National Food Safety Management Technical Standardization Technical Committee (SAC/TC313). This guidance document provides guidance on the design and implementation of traceability systems for feed and food chains. This guideline is applicable to all parties that establish a traceability system for feed and food chains according to GB/T 22005-2009.

3 Terms and definitions
GB/T 22005-2009 established and the following terms and definitions apply to the guidance of technical documents.
3.1 Traceable unit traceableunit There is a need for a single product or batch of products that records and tracks information about its source, use, and location.
Note. Tracing includes both tracking and tracing.
3.2 External traceability externaltraceability Tracing and/or tracing backwards traceability units (3.1) when passed from one organization to another. External traceability is feed And collaboration between organizations on the food chain.
Note 1. Tracing refers to the ability to follow the tracing unit (3.1) path from upstream to downstream of the supply chain.
Note 2. Tracing refers to the ability to identify the source of retrospective units (3.1) from the downstream to the upstream of the supply chain.
3.3 Internal traceability internaltraceability An organization tracks and/or traces traceability units (3.1) within its own business operations. Internal traceable main needle The link between all aspects of an organization.
3.4 Basic traceability information basictraceabilitydata Essential information that enables effective linkages between organizations and within the organization, such as producer, production lot number, production date, production class Second class.
3.5 Extended traceability information extendedtraceabilitydata In addition to basic traceability information, other information related to traceability of foods can be food quality or information for business purposes.
