Scope
GB/T 33915-2017 is the English-translated version of 农产品追溯要求 茶叶.
GB/T 33915-2017 is the Chinese national standard on traceability requirements for agricultural products in the case of tea. It sets the traceability requirements for every link of the chain: tea garden management, tea growing, tea processing, tea distribution and tea selling.
It applies to the traceability of tea products.
It defines the organization, with its responsibilities, authority and interrelations, the traceable unit, that is the single product or the batch of identical products whose origin, use and location have to be recorded and traced, the basic traceability data, the minimum information such as place of production, producer and production lot number that makes tracing possible between organizations and inside one organization, and the extended traceability data, the further food-safety or commercial information that can be added to the basic set.
The definitions are taken from GB/T 19000-2008 and GB/Z 25008-2010. It cites GB/T 22005 and GB/Z 25008. It carries ICS 65.020 and Chinese classification B04, was issued on 12 July 2017 and has applied since 1 February 2018.

Foreword
This standard is drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
1 Scope
This standard provides the tea garden management and tea production, tea processing, tea circulation, tea sales of all aspects of traceability requirements.
This standard applies to the retrospective of tea products.

3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1 Organization
Responsibilities, authority and interrelationships.
Examples. Companies, groups, firms, enterprises, research institutions, charities, agents, plans or parts or combinations of the above.
Note 1. Arrangements are usually ordered.

3.2 Trace unit
A single product or the same batch of products that need to be recorded and traced back to information about its origin, use, and location. [GB/Z 25008-2010, definition 3.1]
3.3 Basic traceability information
The minimum information, such as the location of production, the producer, the production lot number, can be achieved between the inter-organizational and intra-organization links. [GB/Z 25008-2010, definition 3.4]
3.4 Extended traceability information
In addition to basic retrospective information, other information relevant to food traceability may be food hygiene or information for commercial purposes. [GB/Z 25008-2010, definition 3.5]
