Foreword

This document complies with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part

1.Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents". Drafting. This document replaces GB/T 28667-2012 "Fern Hemp". Compared with GB/T 28667-2012, apart from structural adjustments and editorial changes, The main technical changes are as follows:

a) The scope of application has been changed (see Chapter 1, Chapter 1 of the.2012 edition).

b) The relevant definition of the term "" has been changed (see 3.1,.2012 edition 3.1);

c) The term and definition of "useless particles" have been removed (see

1 Scope

GB/T 28667-2026 is the Chinese national standard covering the silverweed tuber - a small starchy root gathered on the Tibetan plateau and used both as food and as a tonic, graded here on size, appearance, moisture and the starch and polysaccharide it contains. This document specifies the raw material requirements, technical requirements, inspection rules, packaging, labeling, transportation, and storage of *Fern Root*, and describes the corresponding tests. method. This document applies to dried products of artificially cultivated fern root.

4.Raw material requirements Choose fern rhizomes that are mature, free from disease spots, mold, rodent bites, and insect infestation.

5 Technical Requirements

5.1 Sensory Requirements It should comply with the provisions of Table 1.

5.2 Physicochemical Indicators It should comply with the provisions of Table 2.

5.3 Net Content The net content of a single pre-packaged product shall be governed by the provisions of the "Measures for the Supervision and Administration of Pre-packaged Commodities".

6 Test Methods

6.1 Sensory inspection Place an appropriate amount of sample in a white porcelain dish and observe its color, shape, and cross-section under natural light. Also, smell its aroma and taste its flavor.

6.2 Determination of 100-grain weight Take an appropriate amount using the quartering method, randomly select 100 seeds of *Fern Hemp*, weigh them using an electronic balance with a sensitivity of 0.01g, repeat this process at least three times, and take the average weight. Mean.

6.3 Moisture Determination Comply with the provisions of GB 5009.3.

6.4 Ash content determination Comply with the provisions of GB 5009.4.

6.5 Starch Determination Comply with the provisions of GB 5009.9.

6.6 Protein determination Comply with the provisions of GB 5009.5.

6.7 Polysaccharide determination Follow the provisions of Appendix A.

6.8 Dietary fiber determination Comply with the provisions of GB 5009.88.

6.9 Impurity Determination Follow the provisions of Appendix B.

6.10 Net Content Determination Follow the provisions of JJF1070.

7 Inspection Rules

7.1 Inspection Lot Products of the same grade and produced using the same processing method constitute one inspection batch.

7.2 Sampling

7.2.1 For bulk products, samples shall be taken twice using the quartering method, with a minimum of 1 per mille of the sample size. Each batch shall have a sample weight of at least 2 kg, divided into three portions. One portion shall be used for testing. One copy is for retesting if the test data is questionable, and the other copy is for retention for future reference.

7.2.2 For pre-packaged products of 50 pieces or less (including 50 pieces), 3 pieces will be randomly selected; if fewer than 3 pieces are selected, all pieces will be opened. For packages exceeding 50 pieces, for each additional piece... One additional item is randomly selected from 20 items. From the selected item, products from different parts are randomly drawn, with the number drawn from each item being roughly the same, averaging [number] items per batch. The sample should weigh no less than 2 kg.

7.3 Factory inspection and type inspection

7.3.1 Factory Inspection The inspection items include sensory requirements, 100-grain weight, moisture content, ash content, impurities, and net content. Each batch of products should be inspected by the quality inspection department of the production unit. The inspection was passed.

7.3.2 Type Testing Type testing includes all items specified in Chapter 5, and type testing shall be performed if any of the following conditions are met.

a) When significant changes in raw materials, processes, or the production environment may affect product quality;

b) When the factory inspection results differ significantly from the previous type inspection results;

c) When the quality supervision agency or competent authority requests a type test;

d) This should be carried out annually after normal production begins;

e) When production resumes after a long period of shutdown;

f) When the user requests a type test.

7.4 Judgment Rules

7.4.1 If all test results meet the requirements of the corresponding grade in this document, the batch of products shall be deemed to meet the requirements of the corresponding grade in this document.

7.4.2 If the test results do not comply with the requirements of this document, the non-conforming items shall be retested. All retested items shall comply with the corresponding grade requirements of this document. If, upon regular inspection, the batch of products is determined to meet the corresponding grade specified in this document, and subsequent re-inspection still reveals that some indicators do not comply with the requirements of this document, then the batch is deemed non-compliant. The product does not comply with the provisions of this document.

7.4.3 When a dispute arises between the supplier and the buyer regarding product quality, arbitration inspection may be conducted.

8 Packaging

8.1 Product packaging materials shall comply with the requirements of GB/T 34344.

8.2 Products can be divided into pre-packaged and bulk products. Pre-packaged products are packaged in fixed quantities according to different packaging specifications. Bulk products are sold by weight according to... The provisions of the "Measures for the Supervision and Administration of Weighing and Measuring of Retail Commodities" shall apply.

8.3 The packaging should be sturdy, moisture-proof, clean, aesthetically pleasing, and odorless, and should protect the quality of the fern root and facilitate loading, unloading, storage and transportation.

9 Tags

Product labels should indicate the product name, grade, manufacturer, quantity, date of manufacture, shelf life, and applicable standard number.

10 Transportation and storage

10.1 Transportation The means of transport should be clean, dry, odorless, and free from contamination. During transport, it should be protected from sunlight, rain, and moisture. Finished products should be covered during transport to avoid [unspecified hazards]. To prevent rainwater intrusion, handle with care and do not damage the outer packaging of the product.
