Scope
GB/Z 16682.2-2010 is the English-translated version of 信息技术 国际标准化轮廓的框架和分类方法 第2部分：OSI轮廓用的原则和分类方法.
GB/Z 16682.2-2010 states the principles and the taxonomy by which the profiles of International Standardized Profiles are classified, continuing the framework that GB/Z 16682.1-2010 opens with the concept of a profile and the way profiles are documented. The two parts together guide the bodies that prepare draft proposals for international standardized profiles according to the nature and content of the document in hand. This part rests on a long list of cited documents, among them GB/T 16264.1, GB/T 16284.4-1996, GB/T 16505.1, GB/T 17969.1 and ISO/IEC 9646-7-1995, and it adopts ISO/IEC TR 10000-2-1998 identically. It takes the place of GB/T 16682.2-1996. It was issued on 14 January 2011.
