GB/Z 144-2025 is the English-translated version of 标准化教育课程建设指南 汽车标准化与应用.

This document gives guidance on building a course on automotive standardization and its application: the mandatory national standards a vehicle has to meet before it can be sold in China, how they relate to the UN regulations, and how type approval and CCC certification are built on top of them. The Chinese automotive standards system is the one a foreign manufacturer meets first and understands last. It borrows heavily from the UN framework and then diverges in places that matter - occupant protection, battery safety, the intelligent cockpit - and the divergences are exactly what a homologation engineer has to know. A course guide is the map of that system. Issued on 3 December 2025 by SAMR and SAC as a guiding technical document, in force from the same day, under the technical jurisdiction of the Standardization Administration of China.

1 Scope

This document establishes the general principles for the development of automotive standardization and application courses, and outlines the procedures for course development, design, implementation, evaluation, and improvement. Examples of guidance and teaching syllabus in this area. This document applies to the development and implementation of automotive standardization and application courses in regular higher education, as well as automotive courses in vocational education, continuing education, and other forms. This is for reference in the vehicle standardization curriculum.

3 Terms and Definitions

The terms and definitions defined in GB /Z 43946-2024, as well as the following terms and definitions, apply to this document.
