GB/Z 101-2025 is the English-translated version of 标准化教育课程建设指南 无机非金属材料标准化.

This document gives guidance on building a course on the standardization of inorganic non-metallic materials: cement and concrete, glass, ceramics, refractories and the technical glass and fibre products derived from them. It is a family of materials held together by how they are tested rather than by what they are made of, and the test is often the standard's entire content - a compressive strength figure means nothing without the specimen geometry, the curing regime and the loading rate that produced it. Teaching the standardization alongside the materials is what stops a graduate reading a datasheet as if the number were absolute. Issued on 3 December 2025 by SAMR and SAC as a guiding technical document, in force from the same day, under the technical jurisdiction of the Standardization Administration of China.

1 Scope
