This document gives guidance on building a course on green manufacturing standardization: the standards that govern how a product's environmental burden is measured, declared and reduced across design, production and end of life. Green manufacturing is the area where Chinese standardization has moved fastest, and where a claim is hardest to check without knowing the standard behind it. Teaching the framework - what a green factory evaluation covers, what a product carbon footprint declaration rests on, how a life cycle assessment is bounded - is what lets an engineer read those claims rather than repeat them.
