Scope
GB/T 9774-2020 is the English-translated version of 水泥包装袋.
GB/T 9774-2020 is the Chinese national standard for cement packing sacks, and it applies to sacks holding up to 50 kg of cement. It covers their classification, sizes, markings and layout printing, bag-making materials, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transport and storage, and acceptance inspection.
Three families are recognised by material: paper sacks, in three-layer extensible, three-layer extensible with an inner PE film and four-layer forms; laminated plastic woven sacks, with or without a paper liner; and paper-plastic composite sacks.
All of them are square-bottomed valve sacks closed by gluing or heat sealing, and the standard fixes bag type, mass per unit area, physical and mechanical properties, service temperature and firmness, plus an adaptability test on the filling line.
It replaces GB 9774-2010, was issued on 29 September 2020 and has applied since 1 April 2022.
