Foreword

This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for standardization work Part 1: Structure and drafting rules for standardization documents" Drafting.

This document replaces GB/T 17449-1998 "Dimensions of threaded bottle necks for glass packaging containers" and is consistent with GB/T 17449-1998.

In addition to structural adjustments and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows.

— Changed the scope to clarify that it is a straight thread bottle (see Chapter 1, Chapter 1 of the 1998 edition);

— Added anti-theft threaded glass bottle mouth structure type (see 5.1);

— Added single-threaded glass bottle mouth structure type (see 5.2);

— Added multi-threaded glass bottle mouth structure type (see 5.3);

— Changed the specifications and dimensions of the anti-theft threaded glass bottle mouth (see 6.1, 4.1 of the 1998 edition);

— Changed the specifications and dimensions of single-threaded glass bottle necks (see 6.2, 4.2 of the 1998 edition);

— Changed the specifications and dimensions of multi-threaded glass bottle mouths (see 6.3, 4.2 of the 1998 edition);

— Changed the measurement method (see Chapter 7, 4.3 of the 1998 edition).

1 Scope

This document specifies the product classification, structural types and specifications of glass container straight thread bottle necks, and describes the dimensional measurement method.

This document applies to glass containers with threaded necks for non-gas-filled contents.
