Scope
GB/T 9109.2-2014 is the English-translated version of 石油和液体石油产品动态计量 第2部分:流量计安装技术要求.
GB/T 9109.2-2014 is Part 2 of the Chinese national standard on the dynamic measurement of petroleum and liquid petroleum products and covers the design and installation of the flowmeter system.
Its general clause requires the meter accuracy class used for custody transfer to be not less than 0.2, the design pressure of the meter to be not less than the maximum working pressure of the system and the design temperature not lower than the highest temperature of the oil measured.
It also asks for protection from heat, vibration, static and electromagnetic interference, a case for a non-waterproof meter outdoors and a positive-pressure cabinet for a non-explosion-proof instrument in a hazardous area.
This edition adds requirements for turbine, Coriolis mass and ultrasonic flowmeter systems. It replaces GB/T 9109.2-1988, was issued on 13 December 2013 and has applied since 1 June 2014.

Foreword
GB/T 9109 is divided into four parts.
--- GB/T 9109.1 Dynamic measurement of crude oil general principles;
--- GB/T 9109.2 Oil and dynamic measurement of liquid petroleum products - Part 2. flowmeter installation technical requirements;
--- GB/T 9109.3 dynamic measurement of oil and liquid petroleum products - Part 3: Volume tube mounting technical requirements;
--- GB/T 9109.5 Petroleum and liquid petroleum products - Calculation of oil dynamic measurement. This section GB/T 9109 Part 2: This section drafted in accordance with GB/T 1.1-2009 given rules.
This Part replaces GB/T 9109.2-1988 "Dynamic measurement of crude oil displacement meter installation technical requirements." This portion
GB/T 9109.2-1988 compared to the main changes in the technical content is as follows.
--- The standard name was changed to "dynamic measurement of oil and liquid petroleum products - Part 2. Install flowmeter technical requirements";
--- Modify the scope, increase in oil and liquid petroleum products;
--- Modify the standard structure, an increase in Chapter 3;
--- Increasing the technical requirements for the design and installation of turbine flow meters, Coriolis mass flow meters and ultrasonic flow meters and other measurement systems.
1 Scope
