Foreword

This standard is GB/T 8938-1988 "typing paper," the amendment. This standard replaces GB/T 8938-1988.

This standard compared with GB/T 8938-1988, the main changes are as follows.

--- Increasing the normative references;

--- Original standard products are divided into A, B, C third-class to high-class product, first-class goods and qualified for three levels;

--- Brightness and dust index has been adjusted;

--- Breaking length was adjusted to tensile index;

--- Increased color index. The standard proposed by China National Light Industry Council.

1 Scope

This standard specifies the type of paper product classifications, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and signs, packaging, transportation and storage.

This standard applies to multiple copies with carbon paper printing and replication of typing paper, stationery and other paper.

3 Product Categories
